FIRST GENERATION
Sam Stratton Bone, Sr.
Sam Stratton Bone, Sr. arrived in Wilson County in 1910 at the age of six and made a significant contribution as an early residential developer, farmer, and Cumberland University executive. He was instrumental in bringing both electricity and water to the homes and businesses of Wilson County, and during World War II, Mr. Bone coordinated the county’s participation as a training site for soldiers headed to Europe.
SECOND GENERATION
Gordon Bone
Mr. Gordon Bone began his career in banking and was on the Board of Directors of Pinnacle Bank and Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation. Through the years, he was an owner and manager of University Medical Center, Horizon Concrete, B&B Enterprise – a construction and development company, and several skilled nursing, long-term care and assisted living facilities.
THIRD GENERATION
Hal Bone
A native of Lebanon, Tennessee, Hal completed his undergraduate studies at Cumberland University in 1998 before obtaining his master’s degree in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University in 2001. Hal is married to Tracey (Landers) Bone, is a father of five children, and attends Immanuel Baptist Church of Lebanon. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation (MTEMC) and Cumberland University and is an active member of the Lebanon Breakfast Rotary Club.
